SEQM – A Leading Edge in Training

For over a decade, SEQM has provided leading edge training in more than fifty countries across five continents, to some of the world’s most successful national and multinational organisations. Our unique approach has ensured that SEQM has established an international reputation for training excellence, demonstrated by a list of training clients that includes names like Shell, LG, Samsung and Elf.

The SEQM approach to training is based on two key principles: enjoyment and effective delivery. We strongly believe that training must adhere to both of these principles to be of the greatest value to the delegate; indeed these principles form the core of our training philosophy.

SEQM training courses are geared towards the encouragement of delegate participation, through a combination of presentations, team based exercises, quizzes and feedback sessions. At SEQM, we believe that ‘training’ should be just that: effective education through active participation.

Completion of an SEQM training course does not simply mean a certificate. Delegates can expect to come away from an SEQM course with the practically applicable knowledge and skills through which to achieve personal and corporate success.

Environmental Training for Housing Associations

We have environmental training courses that are tailored for Housing Associations. We address the specific needs of professionals currently working in the sector who either have been charged with driving an environmental agenda or who have the overall responsibility of managing performance for Audit Commission inspections.

The SEQM Approach

Delegates are issued with a course manual on registration, which they retain for future reference. The manual contains all the course material including a copy of all presentations, exercises and quizzes.

Each half-day is split into two sessions, comprising a presentation and one or two exercises designed to reinforce understanding, and culminates in a review of key learning points.

All of SEQM's courses are built up of a series of core presentation modules (delegate/tutor notes and overheads), exercises/case studies and support materials. The development of any new course is governed by the requirements of our management system, which is externally certified.

A ‘live audit’ forms an integral part of SEQM’s auditor training courses and gives the delegate valuable experience of practicing skills developed during the course. SEQM tutors are experienced certification auditors.

A delegate feedback form is provided to enable delegates to comment on the effectiveness of the course. This information is then fed back to us for evaluation, in order to help us to create the optimal courses for our clients through ensuring continual improvement of both course material and tutors.
