Aims & Objectives
This 2-day course is designed to:

Provide delegates who intend to perform internal audits with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and report on the conformance and effective implementation of processes, through internal audit, and to contribute to the continual improvement of the management system
Why this course?
On completion of this course delegates will be able to:

Describe the responsibilities of an internal auditor and describe the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of management systems

Describe with reference to the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle and the Model of a Process-based Quality Management System, the purpose and structure of ISO 9001:2000

Plan, conduct and report an internal audit of part of a quality management system in accordance with ISO 19011
For students from organisations intending to register their quality management systems against ISO 9001:2000, this course meets the minimum training required by ISO 19011 for internal auditors.
