IEMA EMS Implementation Course

Aims & Objectives

This 3-day course is designed to:

• Allow delegates to gain the skills base to design and implement an EMS within their own organisation's existing management structure, rather than provide a ready made EMS which does not fully address the relevant issues of the particular business

Why this course?

On completion of this course delegates will possess an understanding of:

• Business operations

• Initial project planning

• An Environmental Policy

• Environmental aspects, risks and impacts, and risk management

• Legislation

• Improvement programmes

• Management operations

• How to obtain and utilise effectively future information and advice

All delegates who have successfully completed this IEMA approved course will gain credit towards Environmental Auditor Registration on the IEMA Environmental Auditor Register. Those gaining more than 70% gain six points towards registration.
