SEQM can draw upon the skill and specialist expertise of a pool of associate consultants, of whom Andrew Mostyn is a typical example.

Andrew Mostyn

Andrew operates his own environmental consultancy, having worked for many years for a multinational organisation as Environment Operations Manager, where experience included manufacturing operations, ISO 14001 implementation and responsibility for operational waste management.

Andrew holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, a Certificate of Technical Competence (Level 4) for Managing Treatment of Hazardous Waste, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

David Lowery - BSc (hons) MSc AIEMA

David has 2 years experience working as an Environmental Consultant with the SEQM team. Much of his work focuses on the housing sector and he specialises in providing environmental solutions for Housing Associations and related organisations.

David is currently researching for a PhD in collaboration with Gentoo Green, part of Gentoo Group, a housing organisation that delivers social landlord, property development and construction services. His research investigates the impact of energy saving solutions and advice on tenant behaviour.

He is also part of the North East Forum on Climate Change (NEFCC), which explores climate change solutions in partnership with various local organisations. David continues to work with SEQM as an Associate Environmental Consultant.
